Glad that no one asks me political questions on here

I think most people see me as an inspiration/spirituality blog, and I’m really really really okay with that, based on the treatment I see other political Tumblrs getting…

In other news: we live in a severely twisted-up culture, in my opinion/experience. You try to call out racism, and people flip out. You try to point out sexism, and someone says something awful to you. You try to express a minority opinion, and everyone gangs up on you and tells you, with varying degrees of severity as per the norms of the group, to STFU.

I know, personally, whenever I have a strong, visceral reaction to something… it’s usually because some deeply held belief about myself or others is being challenged… just sayin’…

Am I right?
